Western Fuels Association is excited andpleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Tony Rowser as the new Director ofCommercial Operations.
Tony brings extensive experience across coalmarketing, procurement, and logistics, with a career spanning both domestic andinternational markets. Prior to joining WFA, he served as Senior Trade Managerat International Materials Inc., where he was responsible for U.S. coalexports, overseeing procurement, sales, and end-to-end logistics execution.
Earlier in his career, Tony held the role ofGeneral Manager – Central Region Sales and Logistics at Alliance ResourcePartners. In this capacity, he managed coal sales and transportation acrossMidwest and Southeast utility and industrial markets, in addition to supportingthe company’s export business. His background also includes leadership roles insales and supply chain management with Foresight Energy, Koch Industries, andHolcim US.
Tony holds a Bachelor of Science degree fromWeber State University and has been actively engaged in industry leadership formore than a decade. He currently serves as a board member of the Lexington CoalExchange and as Chairman of the Joe Frye, Jr. Educational Funding Committeewith The Coal Institute.
Tony’s deep industry expertise, operationalleadership, and long-standing commitment to the energy sector position him toplay a key role in advancing Western Fuels Association’s growing commercialstrategy and member-focused mission.
